Learn to Row Camp- Intermediate
Rumson and Fair Haven residents entering Grades 8-9 in Fall. All 13 year olds must present a Birth Certificate. If under 13, participant must wear a PFD per Maritime Law. The Intermediate is for those who took the Beginner Learn to Row Camp last year. Programs are Monday through Thursday, unless noted otherwise, at Victory Park in Rumson, campers will be taught the fundamentals of proper stroke technique, safe conditioning practices, and rowing safety. Participants will learn proper rowing terminology and proper equipment handling. Weather make up date are coaches decisiosn. 10 sessions. Fee: $300
Learn to Row Camp - Beginners
Rumson and Fair Haven residents entering 7th grade who are 12 years old are eligible as well as 8th graders that have not taken the beginner course previously. During the session, held at the RFH Rowing center in Victory Park in Rumson, campers will be taught the fundamentals of proper stroke technique, safe conditioning practices, and rowing safety. Participants will learn proper rowing terminology and proper equipment handling. NOTE: Those 13 & Under are required to wear a personal flotation device while rowing, which will be provided for each participant. Fee: $300
