2017 Rutgers Coaching Clinic
The state of New Jersey requires volunteer coaches to attend a "safety orientation and training skills program" in order to be eligible for civil immunity protection provided by the Little League Law (2A:2A-6 et.seq.) The curriculum of the Rutgers SAFETY Clinic is based upon the Minimum Standards for Volunteer Coaches Safety Orientation and Training Skills Programs (NJAC 5:52) and has been intested in court as having met the standards. This is a three hour program. Registrants must attend the entire program to qualify.
