2019/2020 Schedules  

OPEN REGISTRATION Runs Oct 1 - OCT 31.  $50 LATE FEE APPLIES AFTER OCT 31. 

The youth basketball program offers a variety of recreational and competitive basketball programs. 

Rec Basketball is open to Rumson residents only. 

SPACE IS LIMITED - REGISTER EARLY!

Players will be added after the coaches meeting if space is available

Coaches meeting is Dec 4th. for team coaches (registration closes that day for 3rd-8th)

Clinic coaches meeting is Dec 11th.


2019/2020 TENTATIVE GAME TIMES (one game per week, special instances might require doubleheaders):

B7/8: Fri night 7.15pm & 8.15pm at either RCDS or Forrestdale.

G7/8: TBD, depends on enrollment.  

B5/6 & G5/6: Saturday 8.30am-9.15am-10am start (girls) OR Saturday 10.45am-11.30am-12:15-1pm start (boys) at RCDS

G3/4: Sat, 12.45pm or 1.45pm start; B3/4: Sat, 1.45pm-3.45pm start at Forrestdale.

Practices are based on coaches availability.  Please do not ask to switch team assignments due to practice conflicts.

Annual March Madness Tournament for Grades 5-8! A Double Elimination end of season tournament specific days/times determined by age division.


For children interested in a more competitive basketball experience there is the Mid-Monmouth Basketball League and Monmouth Youth Basketball League. Children must tryout for these teams. Tryouts are held in June (10u and older) and Sep (8U & 9U).  Registration for tryouts is on-line.  Announcements regarding the tryout times/dates will be posted on the Rumson Rec website, and sent through the email distribution list.  Mike Cecil is the Rumson Mid-Monmouth Coordinator and the program is sponsored by Rumson Recreation.
