2019 Introductory to Financial Literacy
Introduction to Financial Literacy
With the newly passed law requiring NJ middle school students to take a financial literacy course to know about finances, why not get a head start on it! In this week long 2 hour course, students will be introduced to a variety of fun activities that will help them to understand fiscal responsibility. Topics will include credit vs debit cards, taxes, tax deductions, fiscal responsibility and decision making along with other topics.
Session 1: June 24 - 28th from 9:00 - 11:00 AM
Session 2: August 19 - 23rd from 1:00 - 3:00 PM
Students should bring: computer with wifi access and a pencil

$100 per student
Rising 6th - 8th graders
Camp Director - Jeff Herkimer, RFH Math Teacher for 18 years (25 years total years of teaching experience)
Recently the State of NJ passed a law that require middle school students to learn about financial literacy.
